The Civil Aviation General Directorate, or SHGM, has revised its two-way air transportation agreements with Middle Eastern countries to include new flight destinations and provide an increased number of flights, according to a press release.
With the aim to further develop Turkey’s international flight network, the SHGM has recently revised all of its two-way aviation agreements with 14 Middle Eastern countries.
The most recently revised agreements came from Yemen and were completed Dec. 28.
According to the revised agreements, 14 scheduled passenger flights will take off between Turkey and Yemen each week and there will be no limit on frequency or capacity on scheduled cargo flights.
Additionally, the parties agreed on further collaboration in civil aviation issues including maintenance, repair and training.
