Thieves Like Us on stage in Istanbul with new album

Thieves Like Us will perform for their Turkish fans.

Thieves Like Us will perform for their Turkish fans.
Performing in Turkey for the first time since releasing their new album “Again and Again,” Thieves Like Us will be taking the stage at Roxy in Istanbul on Friday to introduce their second successful electronic, dance-pop album.
Thieves Like Us, who previously performed in Istanbul two times and were well welcomed each time, is made up of two Swedes and one American living in Germany and France, and the band is addicted to dance-pop music. With different cultural characteristics from their various countries of origin and what they got by combining European and American styles of nightlife, there is no doubt they have achieved a fantastic mix of sound.
Founded in 2002, the band released their first album “Play Music” in 2008 and held a strong place in people’s minds with their single “Drugs in my Body.” Even though they are not completely content with the compliments from critics about the album, they immediately got great feedback from all over the world, especially Europe. Defining “Again and Again” as a warmer and more organic album than their debut, Thieves Like Us will tell their dance-pop story on Roxy’s stage on Friday in a depressive but dynamic style that is Berliner and Swede together while also French but American in fashion.
The concert will start at 10 p.m. Ticket prices 15-20 Turkish Liras and available at Biletix.
