Boy George to play vintage numbers in Istanbul

Musician and DJ Boy George will be in Istanbul for a one-night performance at 360 degrees restaurant and bar.
Even though Boy George is known for his solo career and his group, Culture Club, he is also one of the most listened to DJs in the world. Boy George was also one of the legendary DJs of the Ministry of Sound.
In Istanbul, however, he will perform some of his older and more vintage songs and will be joined on stage by DJ Marc Vedo.
According to Boy George, his DJ sets are entertaining and consist of songs that touch the souls of everyone.
Boy George prefers to play high-quality songs. Speaking about the Istanbul performance, Boy George said, “I want to take my audiences on a long journey.”
Boy George started his DJ career in the 1970s and was noted for his success in mixing acid house and Chicago house-style DJ sets. He also worked in famous clubs throughout the world, such as Godskitchen, Cream, Manumissio, Spundae, London Ministry of Sound, Singapore Zouk and Government.
Boy George also worked as a producer on several albums and songs, including “Generations of Love” and “When Will You Learn.” Apart from those songs, he worked as a producer with record labels such as, the Ministry of Sound, Sony, GU Music, Virgin, Polystar, Hed Kandi, Universal, Subliminal, EMI and Fantazia.
Boy George has also worked with Erick Morillo, Jeremy Healy, Deep Dish, Rui Da Silva, Afrika Bambaataa, Hi-Gate, Adamski and Faithless.
Recently, he worked with the vocalist of Skunk Anansie, Skin, and pop icon Grace Jones.
Currently, Boy George is working with Vedo and his current DJ sets as producer has been hailed by many as some of his most creative.
